Dr. Jeffrey Diamond was raised in San Diego and graduated from UC San Diego and UCLA School of Dentistry. After dental school, Dr. Diamond completed a residency program in Advanced General Dentistry at the VA Medical Center in Long Beach, CA, where he gained extensive experience with complex restorative dentistry, implants, and full mouth reconstruction. Dr. Diamond has been in solo practice since 2016 and the owner of since 2017.
While at UCLA, Dr. Diamond met his wife, Emily, Palo Alto native who works full-time as an academic research scientist. They have two children: Evan (born 2018) and Sloane (born 2020). They live in the Emerald Hills area of Redwood City and are grateful to live and work on the Peninsula, near family, friends, and so much natural beauty.
Los Altos Dentist Dr. Diamond is a member of the Mid-Peninsula Dental Society, California Dental Association, and American Dental Association. He is dedicated to learning and keeping up with developments in techniques, materials, and technology, and enjoys connecting with colleagues via study groups and continuing education. Dr. Diamond is active in Spear Education, Peninsula Dental Academy, and Northern California Academy of Dental Research, and has stayed connected to UCLA through their continuing education programs. In 2018, he began studying with the Seattle-based Kois Center for advanced dentistry.
In his free time, Dr. Diamond’s favorite thing to do is hike among the redwoods with his family. He is an aspiring amateur chef, and enjoys mountain biking, basketball, swimming, and all kinds of DIY home improvement projects. Dr. D can often be seen riding around Los Altos on his big green electric bike.

Judy Schmetz
REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
Judy is our longest-tenured Registered Dental Hygienist, having been happily employed here since 2000. She received her Associate of Science and Dental Hygiene degree from Cabrillo College. With over 30 years in the field, she continues to bring a high level of dedication, care, and support to our patients for their oral health. She loves learning and actively seeks out new information and continuing education. Judy prides herself on meticulous attention to detail and spends an impressive amount of time and energy educating patients on how to better care for themselves at home.
Vivian Soepa
REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
Vivian is our Registered Dental Hygienist with over 13 years of dental experience. She grew up in Orange County, earned a bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Cruz, and later a dental hygiene degree from Foothill College. She went on to complete her master’s degree in education and taught as a dental hygiene clinical instructor at Foothill College for 7 years prior to starting a family. Vivian is passionate about fostering long-term relationships with her patients and finds joy in coaching them to achieve excellent oral health. In her free time, Vivian enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, their two boys – Jayden (born in 2021) and Cameron (born in 2023), and their two dogs Daisy and Luna. They reside in Campbell and have enjoyed calling the South Bay their home for the last 13 years.
GLADYS “GG” ESCUTIA
REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT
GG is our highly skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Assistant who works side-by-side with Dr. Diamond taking care of patients. GG was born and raised in the Bay Area, the youngest of four children. She has been passionate about the dental field for as long as she can remember, and since her career began in 2007, GG has been constantly committed to learning and expanding her scope of knowledge and competence. She earned her RDA license from Silicon Valley Technical Education in 2015. In 2023, she completed a rigorous night and weekend program in advanced dental assisting (RDAEF) through University of the Pacific. GG has an amazing 17 year old son named Junior. They share a love for Giants baseball, Star Wars, and traveling to new and exciting places.

OFFICE MANAGER
Julie, joined our team in 1989, and now has over 36 years of experience working in dentistry. She is compassionate and efficient with patient care, and communication.
Her passion is to ensure that you receive the best treatment, from the moment you make a call, are seen & have left our office.
Julie is highly skilled, with a proven ability to oversee daily business operations, efficient with scheduling, insurance billing, administrative tasks and much more.
She takes pride in attention to detail, loves working with both people and numbers, so her role with this practice is the perfect fit.
Outside the office, she enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, friends and her dogs.
FERNANDO TRUJILLO
ASSISTANT & STERILIZATION TECH
Since 2016, Fernando has been dedicated to his role as a dental assistant for Dr. Diamond, where he’s honed his skills and passion for patient care. His life outside of work is intentionally balanced, rooted in an active lifestyle that includes pickleball and regular gym workouts. Fernando is deeply connected to his faith, and finds great joy in attending church. Most of all, spending quality time with his children is the greatest source of happiness and fulfillment in life.
